|Description:||Michael Clune, CWRU Associate Professor of English, will present a program based on his award winning book, White out: the secret life of heroin: a memoir, which was chosen as one of the Best Books of the Year by The New Yorker, NPR's On Point, and the online magazine The Millions. Our local news has frequent stories about the increasing use of heroin and its effects all levels of society. This is the perfect opportunity to hear firsthand how one young man battled his addiction and became a productive member of society.
