Dementia Week: Keynote Speaker Dr. Roopa In-Person

Dr Roopa Anmolsingh is a Geriatrician with the Cleveland Clinic and works at the Center for Geriatric Medicine (CGM) at the Main Campus and Euclid Hospital. Her practice is consultative for Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments and she is the lead Geriatrician for Community Programs. 

Dr Anmolsingh has a special interest in memory disorders evaluation, care giver support, falls prevention and geriatric pre-lung transplants. In the past year, she has initiated a care giver support group with the Alzheimer’s Association and brought the the nationally recognized Matter of Balance Falls Prevention Program on site to the Center for Geriatric medicine with the support of Fairhill partners.  More recently, she launched the Center for Geriatric Medicine’s Memory Cafe, ReFreshing Memories, in collaboration with the South Euclid Library and Farrell Foundation. She has also developed the Geriatric Assessment Pre-Lung Transplant Program (GASPP) for persons 65 and older going through the prelung transplant evaluation process. She continues to work on developing programs supporting caregivers of persons with cognitive decline or dementia.
