Mongolia? Kansas? France?: Tracing the Origins of the "Spanish flu" In-Person

By some measures, the 1918 influenza pandemic was the worst in history. In just a few months, it killed as many people as the Black Death of the 1300s, and possibly many millions more. It may have infected one third of all the people on Earth. Yet we still don't know where or how it started. This talk offers a theory based on the latest scientific and historical evidence.   Presented by Jason Opal, Dean and Director of The Ohio State University at Mansfield.
