The Cleveland Rape Crisis Center Catalyst Program In-Person / Online

The Catalyst Program is a 3-part series, presented by the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, that is designed to educate teens on how they can become change agents in their communities to increase awareness and aid in our mission to eliminate sexual violence. Teens will learn how to create healthier, safer, and more positive communities in all their spheres of influence.

Weds, July 13th, 7pm

Part 1 - Healthy Relationships

How to identify warning signs and risks of an unhealthy relationship and set goals for their own relationships.

Weds, July 20th, 7pm

Part 2 - Affirmative Consent, Coercion and Sexual Assault

Teens will dive into a conversation about consent: what it actually is and learn that without it, actions could be considered abusive or coercive.

Weds, July 27th, 7pm

Part 3 - Bystander Intervention

Strategies to effectively and safely intervene when they notice unsafe situations.

The material covered in this program will include topics that some teens may find offensive and/or traumatizing. We aim to forewarn teens about potentially disturbing content and we ask that all teens help to create an atmosphere of mutual respect and sensitivity.

For ages 12-18. Participants may attend any or all events and will have an option to attend in person or on Zoom.
