Gregory T. Moore will present his newly published book, Beyond the Voting Rights Act: The Untold Story of the Struggle to Reform America's Voter Registration Laws (Democracy in Times of Upheaval).
Gregory is one of the nation’s leading voting rights leaders and advocates with a long and distinguished history of political empowerment and issue advocacy. He has served in several leadership positions throughout his many years of grassroots organizing and program development at the local, state and national level. He is currently the President and CEO of the Promise of Democracy Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization committed to expanding voting rights and continuing his work of breaking down barriers to full participation in American Democracy.
