LAF: Poe's Second Annual Birthday Bash In-Person

Creepy storyteller and poet Edgar Allen Poe was also a well-known science enthusiast who delighted in debunking myths. Do you have what it takes to test common perceptions or to write a weird tale? Join us for experiments, tasty birthday treats, and a virtual author visit from four fantastic middle grade authors as we celebrate Edgar Allan Poe!   Heights Libraries is thrilled to welcome Kim Ventrella, Lora Senf, Marina Cohen, and David Neilsen.  Ages 6 to Adult.  Registration begins Jan. 11.

Former children’s librarian, Kim Ventrella is the author of The Secret Life of Sam, Hello Future Me, Bone Hollow, and Skeleton Tree; Marina Cohen is an elementary school teacher and author of several creepy middle grade books including The Inn Between, The Doll’s Eye, A Box of Bones, and Shadow Grave;  David Neilsen wrote Dr. Fell and the Playground of Doom and Beyond the Doors; and Lora Senf is the author of The Clackity.
