DESCRIPTION:Join us each month as we take a look at new and emerging topics 
 in contemporary art.  Each month's session will revolve around a particular 
 theme with associated readings. Participants will receive reading packets 
 upon registration. Registration begins two weeks before each 
 session.\n\nSeptember: Remembering the Past \n\nHow can we responsibly 
 visualize moments from our historical past that may be painful? What lines 
 can be drawn between preservation and commemoration?  What do we do with 
 monuments to people who are now controversial? \n\nOctober: Ownership and 
 Authenticity \n\nHow does the emergence of AI and AI generated imagery 
 impact the role of authorship for artists today? What do we consider to be 
 authentically created?
