PEACE Park Guidelines
- Reservation requests may be submitted up to two months in advance and no fewer than two weeks before the requested date.
- Requests are processed within 4–7 business days and are not reviewed on weekends.
- Due to high demand, individuals and organizations may reserve the park no more than twice per month.
- Reservations do not provide exclusive use of the park, as PEACE Park remains a public outdoor space.
- Library-sponsored programs receive scheduling priority.
- Groups are limited to fewer than 50 participants unless special approval is granted and security is provided by the reserving organization.
- The Library does not provide security for park events.
- Organizers expecting large attendance should coordinate with the City of Cleveland Heights or local law enforcement.
- The park closes at dusk.
- All City noise ordinances must be followed.
- Dogs are permitted only when leashed and under owner supervision.
- Event organizers are responsible for cleaning the park and disposing of trash and recycling appropriately.
- Alcohol, open flames, fireworks, knives, sharp objects, and glass containers are prohibited.
- Fundraising, solicitation, petition signature gathering, collection of dues, admission fees, and charging participants for events are prohibited unless expressly authorized by the Library.
- The Library reserves the right to close the park because of emergencies, weather conditions, or maintenance needs.
- The Library assumes no responsibility for unattended personal property.
- Nonprofit organizations may use the park free of charge for events open to the public.
- Religious organizations may not use the park as their primary place of worship.
