Heights Art Lecture Series with Dr. Emma Clute In-Person

Some 2,500 years ago, blacksmiths in Africa began smelting and crafting iron for tools, ornaments, weapons, and ritual objects. From the magnificent bronzes of Benin to the forges of Great Zimbabwe, explore this rich history of metalworking.

Dr. Emma Clute is an art historian. She received her PhD from the Ohio State University. Since 2022, she has presented a monthly lecture for the Heights Library hosted on Zoom.
